Punjab Agricultural University Pau Organizes Farmers’ Interaction

LUDHIANA, DECEMBER 29:

The Department of Extension Education, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) organized one day farmers’ interaction to celebrate ‘Jai Kisan Jai Vigyan’ week under the guidance of Dr H. S. Dhaliwal, Dean, College of Agriculture and Dr Jaswinder Singh Bhalla, Professor and Head, Department of Extension Education. The interaction was held in the village Tibba to mark the birth anniversary of former Prime Ministers, Sh Atal Bihari Vajpayee and late Sh Chaudhary Charan Singh.

Interacting with the farmers, Dr Dharminder Singh, Assistant Extension Specialist, advised the farmers to adopt scientific agriculture practices to enhance crop productivity and save natural resources like water.

Dr Lavleesh Garg, Assistant Professor, emphasized the importance of subsidiary occupations to raise farm profit.
