PAU PROCESSING & FOOD ENGINEERING STUDENT BAGS INSPIRE FELLOWSHIP
LUDHIANA, JULY 19
Ms Pallavi Sharma, a Ph.D. student in the Department of Processing & Food Engineering, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has been awarded INSPIRE Fellowship by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, for conducting research on, ‘Shelf life enhancement of sprout inherent bulb crops using Irradiation,’ under the guidance of Professor Sajeev Rattan Sharma. The INSPIRE fellowship is a post graduate scholarship offered to the first ranker of a University in basic and applied science courses. The fellowship consists of Rs 25,000 plus 4,000 HRA per month with a contingent grant of Rs 20,000 per annum.
