The Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) of the Veerapandi block organised a farm school, under the Integrated Crop Management, in paddy programme at S. Papparapatti village on Friday.
Farm School provides technical training to farmers through interactive sessions during each of the six critical stages of crop. The programme will continue for the next three months. The farmers participated in the first session on land preparation, selection of varieties and season, seed treatment and sowing. S. Selvamani, Assistant Director of Agriculture, inaugurated the event.
