KrishiVigyan Kendra, Fatehgarh Sahib has organized Animal health Camp at village Dhtaunda. About 90 farmers participated in this camp. Dr. Ajay Singh AP (Animal Science) welcomed all the farmers and officers of the allied departments. He has told to the farmers about housing management, care and managementof calves, lactating animals and feed management. Dr. SanjeevKohli, Veterinary Officer ChanarthalKalanawaredthe farmers about the importance of vaccination and de-worming in animals. Dr. Gurinder Singh, Senior Veterinary Officer advised the farmers to adopt dairy as a subsidiary occupation along with agriculture and also motivate them to rearSahiwal Cow to get more profits and healthy milk. In this camp Dr. AmitJindal Veterinary Officer Khare, S. Nirmal Singh Sectory Co-operative Society Dhtaunda, S. Avtar Singh Veterinary Inspector Balpur, S. Bhupinder Singh SarpanchBalpur, Sh. Royi Ram SarpanchDhtaunda have also graced the occation with their presence. During this camp the team has checked the animals and KrishiVigyan Kendra also distributed Mineral mixture and de-worming tablets among the farmers. During this camp, farmers have discussed their various querries regarding their animals. Farmers have given a positive feedback regarding this camp and requested to the team to conduct this type of animal camp frequently in their village. At the end, Mrs. SatvirKaur SRF NICRA gave vote of thanks to all the farmers for their participation.
